You told me you were a dick and I should have listened

We went on three dates and on one of them, you told me you were a dick. You explained to me that you weren’t an asshole, but you were a dick. You said, “An asshole is an asshole. A dick is a dick, but can still be likable.” You explained that you make jokes and sarcastic remarks at the expense and discomfort of others, but that people still like you.

I should have heeded your warnings and believed you. I was turned off when you told me this, but nevertheless I persisted in liking you.

Then, recently, I texted you to say that I really liked you but this wasn’t working for me, and I wished circumstances were different, and you have yet to respond, and it’s been about five days. You have however since updated your Tinder profile multiple times adding and removing multiple pictures.

At first, I think I was hurt and upset and now I feel better remembering your warning to me early on. You are just being true to yourself. You were right; you’re a dick.
